Heading Home

The defending World Champions finally return home to New York on Tuesday after a successful 4-2 road trip against Boston and Tampa Bay. Tuesday should prove to be an exciting day as the Yankees raise their 27th championship flag, receive their World Series rings, and welcome new additions like Curtis Granderson to the Bronx.

Although I understand the reasoning behind letting Matsui go, it will be sad to see him get his ring while wearing another uniform. He was one of the best clutch hitters the Yankees had during his time here and will be missed. But on a cheerful note, welcome to Curtis G. I think he will make some Yankee memories himself. He's got all the tools to be a big star in the Bronx.... Tuesday is the real Opening Day in MLB
